BHARATANATYAM FUNDAMENTALS

• This class will teach the foundations of Bharatanatyam. From eye, neck, and head isolations to a comprehensive overview of mudras - we will build our technique from the ground up. This class is perfect for beginners eager to learn about Bharatnatyam, as well as experienced dancers looking to spruce up their technique. Theory will complement practice to give dancers a thorough understanding of the art form. All lessons will be digitally shared with students - you'll walk away with material to preserve the roots of Bharatanatyam for decades to come.

• Knowledge of basic footwork, hand gestures, isolations, expressions
