The Center for Modern Dance Education (CMDE) will present three different performances over the weekend of May 30-31. On 5/31, the matinee performance (3PM) will feature CMDE students, staff and guest artists performing in a range of styles, while on 5/30 and 5/31, the evening performances (7:30PM) will showcase special guests from Bergen Dancemakers performing a wide range of new work.
Founded in 1962, the Center for Modern Dance Education is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making dance available to everyone, from toddlers through seniors, including people with disabilities. Talent and work-study scholarships are available. Come try your first class for free; see our schedule at www.cmde.org, or call 201-342-2989 or email info@cmde.org for more information. CMDE's partner, Bergen Dancemakers, directed by Claire Porter, is a group of choreographers from Bergen County, NJ, committed to developing and working together in guiding each artist’s distinct vision.
