United Way Bay Area is hosting our third CalSavers Conversation Series event in partnership with ideas42.
CalSavers is a new, state-sponsored retirement savings program, available to over 7.5 million Californians who currently do not have access to a retirement plan through work.
Join us in this conversation about how to utilize evidence-based practices, drawn from behavioral science, to increase the financial stability of communities across the Bay Area. Learn how behavioral science insights can improve the work we do as nonprofits, community-based organizations and public agencies.
Behavioral science encompasses economics, psychology and neuroscience, and seeks to explain why people behave the way they do. When we understand why people make the decisions that they do, we can design effective policies, programs and products that help people make and follow through on the best decisions for themselves and society.
Event will include a light breakfast.
