Learn metalsmithing in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Begin by learning how to handle the necessary tools and equipment. You will then set out on several projects, making rings, bracelets and earrings, and perfecting skills in techniques like forging, texturizing and soldering. View class overview
Non-members: $195 for 6 weeks. Members: $156.
Fee does not include materials. Supply kit available from instructor for $10 when series begins. Additional supplies available to purchase separately as needed for class projects.

About the instructor:
Kim Round got her degree in art at Florida State University and taught jewelry workshops in Tallahassee, FL before making the move back home to Maine. She has been teaching Beginning Metalsmithing and other workshops at Artascope for four years and is thrilled to be part of a friendly & creative community. She is a member of the Maine Crafts Association and her work can be found at the Center for Maine Craft and at Archipelago in Rockland.
