Beers & Data was started in 2015 by Google and Facebook alum Jon Lorenzini, a natural extrovert who enjoyed fostering communication between introverted data nerds and gregarious marketing-industry insiders. The group grew organically into a monthly meet-up where people of varied backgrounds came to drink, exchange info, share perspectives, and spitball ideas.

Lately, the group has been a great excuse to hang out with old coworkers you don't get to see after a job change, but still want to see each other. Swing by, invite friends to catch up with or come solo as our goal is to introduce you to new people, geek out with new ideas and share a beer with a fellow nerd.

Since its inception, Beers & Data has resulted in thousands of meaningful connections, 76 confirmed job hires, and one marriage.
