Becca Kidwell: My Maybe World with Mary Chapin Carpenter

MAC Award Nominee Becca Kidwell pays tribute to acclaimed folk singer-songwriter, Mary Chapin Carpenter in her new show: My Maybe World with Mary Chapin Carpenter on Sunday, April 11th at 4:00pm and Wednesday, May 13th at 7:00pm at Don’t Tell Mama. Becca explores Carpenter’s over thirty year career while sharing how the music affected her personally through all those years. The show will include Grammy Award winning hits including: “I Feel Lucky,” “Down At The Twist And Shout,” “Passionate Kisses,” and more as well as some lesser known songs that have personal meaning for Kidwell. The show, directed by Kristine Zbornik, grooves under the musical direction of Tracy Stark, and a band that includes Matt Scharfglass on bass and Kendra Jo Brook on fiddle. Cabaret Hotspot described Becca’s cabaret performances as: “cabaret at its best...her abundant exuberance was contagious.”
