Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman is a wonderful children’s tale about a sleepy bear that is in for a big surprise when he wakes up. As we read the story aloud, children will play an interactive role in the telling by becoming one of the eight loveable animals in the book. After the story, we will use “cardboard binoculars” to make observations as we take a nature walk back to the visitor center.
This Program for young children ages 3 to 6 will be held in a classroom out near the bike tent. It will take at least 20 minutes to walk out to this site and about a half hour to return. Please arrive by 9:30 AM and dress for the weather. Parents must also register for this event.
