Thank you for your interest and feedback is great! We will certainly consider future events with a different schedule. Our Gardening for Birds clinic and workshop last Spring was well attended, and on a weekend. Keep watching our page for fun events for public education.

We homeschool and are studying flying creatures this year. Is this something that's appropriate for kids to attend? And will there be someone available to help build the bat boxes or do you just provide the supplies? Thank you!

Yes, kids can come but we do request an adult attend with them. Master Gardeners will be on hand to assist with construction instruction. Sorry for the late response.

I'm a master gardener and will let them know of the timing problem. We've never done this workshop before and our carpenters put a lot of effort to make it work. Thanks for your interest.

It's a pity this event is scheduled in the middle of the day; it excludes a good chunk of the population, and there are plenty of us working folks who would LOVE to build a bat house! :)

Thanks! We've been looking for a bat box and not sure what kind or even where a good place to hang it. This was exactly the kind of workshop we needed! Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately I cannot make this one during the day. I have a community involvement event all day. Please host another one though in the future. Preferably 4 pm or later. I'd love to attend this workshop.
