Basic Obedience 8 week class; Level 1

Level 1 Basic obedience class overview: 8 Weeks of training. Held every Monday starting February 26th at 6pm until 6:45pm.

Learn the following:

1. Focusing/eye contact
2. Loose leash walking and heel
3. hand targeting 
4. down 
5. Sit
6. stand
7. come when called
8. stay 
9. impulse control
10. Place 
11. Leave it

Weeks 1-4 will be learning and practicing the cues. Weeks 5-8 will be practical exercises in chosen locations. ****Traveling will be required for the last 4 weeks of class.

Requirments:

1. Registration form and proof of current vaccines PRIOR to first class.
2. 4 to 6 foot leash with a body harness or a head halter (gentle leader, halti)
3. a variety of Soft Quickly edible treats
4. Fist class is an owner only orientation class. No dogs will be permitted into the training area during the class. 
5. The ability to travel to other pre-determined locations for the last 4 classes.
