Basic Life Support for Healthcare Training (BLS)

Vitality Safety Group will be providing Basic Life Support for Healthcare Training every third Wednesday of the Month. The training will be located at the Villages of Carver YMCA Youth Center.  The address for this faciligy is 1600 Pryor Road in Atlanta, GA. All attendees will be able to purchase a certification card valid for 2 years after successful completion of the course and skills assessments. In order to be certified, you must have a Basic Life Support provider workbook available before, during and after class. The American Heart Association requires that all students seeking and obtaining certification must have this as reference material. The certification cost for this course training is $65.50

Once registration is complete you will receive a welcome letter within 24-48 hours providing all additional information to help prepare you for this course including where and how to obtain course materials. You may also purchase your course materials from our website at vitalitysafetygroup.com

Note that in order to become Certified you must have a personal copy of the American Heart Association handbook in which AHA requires anyone who holds a certification card to have reference material for review and renewal purposes.

You will have a 15-minute grace period from the time class starts, however due to class scheduling and time if you are more than 15 minutes late you will need to reschedule.

Please be on time and be dressed in comfortable yet casual clothing because you will be practicing skills that may require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing and lifting. If you have any physical conditions that might prevent you from participating in this course, please let one of our instructors know when you arrive to class. Our instructors will work to accommodate your needs within the state course requirements. If in the event you become ill or cannot make it to class, please notify our office and we will work with you to reschedule your training.
