BASIC JEWELRY FABRICATION Creating a Pendant - 1 session workshop

In jewelry fabrication, pieces are designed and made directly in the metal rather than by using molds that are cast as multiples. Each piece that is made, even if it is of the same design, is unique. This is the ancient art of jewelry making. In this class, you will gain knowledge of basic hand and power tools used in fabrication of jewelry as well as the properties of the materials and how to choose and purchase them.

You will have the opportunity to engage in the creation of your own hand fabricated piece as you learn about the tools and processes used in jewelry fabrication.
