A Barrio Cocktail Party: A Night of Chocolate Inspired Dishes, Seasonal Cocktails, Latin Jazz, & Art

A benefit event to highlight the businesses, culture, art, and the community of Barrio
Logan and South San Diego.
Taste Venture Tours is celebrating almost a year as an official brand and we wanted to start the new season with giving back to the community that has helped build it.
This one-night collaboration event of cocktails and hors-d'oeuvres will be held at the super hip ONE BUNK space in Barrio Logan.
Joining us that night will be Chef Lety McKenziey from BeerFish, curating a pass menu centered around chocolate, with up and coming pastry talent Rochelle Noelani.
At the bar, Cesar Sandoval from Don Fulano Tequila and Brandon Curry from Mezcal El Silencio.
JUST ADDED: Joining us from the neighborhood, Thorn Street Brew will be donating a collection of their tasting beer
for purchase the night of the event with 100% of those sales going to ARTS!
Our MC will be the vibrant host of 88.3-KSDS Latin Jazz Grooves Radio Host Djchris.

A portion of the proceeds will be going to support the efforts and mission of ARTS- A Reason to Survive-- A nonprofit in South San Diego that "ignite the power of creativity in youth, inspiring them to overcome obstacles and providing them with the skills needed to become compassionate catalysts for positive change in themselves, their communities, and the world."
A special silent auction of handpicked items will be held with 100% of the proceeds going to ARTS.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age with a valid state-issued ID or Passport.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Street parking is available and will be free because of the Holiday. We do however encourage carpooling or using a service such as Lyft to avoid any difficulties.
What can I bring into the event?
No Smoking inside the event.
