This course teaches unique exercises for individuals who would like to increase their balance control and decrease their risk of falls. Classes will offer tips for managing balance during inclement weather and what you can do to make your environment safer to avoid falls. This program will incorporate a set of slow, simple movements adapted from yoga, T'ai Chi Chih, and Qigong. Chairs will be provided to hold for balance, if needed.
Each session is 6 Wednesdays from 1:50 - 2:50 pm.
Each session is limited to 12 participants.
Session 1: April 8, 15, 22, 29; May 13, 20 (except May 6)
Session 2: June 3, 10, 17, 24; July 1, 8
Prerequisite: Physician consent is required to participate in this class.

Please Note:
We do not offer make-up classes. If you register for a multi-class session and are unable to attend all classes, no make-up classes will be offered.
A handling fee of $25 is deducted for all cancellations. A refund or credit is available if you cancel up to one week before the program begins. No refunds will be given if you do not attend an event without giving prior notice. If you start a multi-session class and decide not to continue, no credit or refund will be given.
