SHOW DESCRIPTION:
The laugh-out-loud musical tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton, who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that, although the residents seem nice, it's clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates and their ever-elusive purpose in life.
CASTING NOTE:
Age and gender will NOT play a factor in casting for this show. If you bring us the best character, you’ll get the part. Step out of your comfort zone and give us all the energy you have. This rehearsal process will move very quickly, and we’ll be counting on our actors to do a lot of character development and puppeteering work on their own, so keep that in mind when looking at characters to audition for. Finally, we all know how intimidating auditions can be; we’ve all been there. Do your best to let all of that go and just have fun. Enjoy yourself, laugh at yourself, be confident in yourself.
Please have 16 bars of a song prepared.
