Chicken wings are like opinions — it seems like these days everyone’s got one. But simply having wings on your menu doesn’t make them great.  Nah — a truly great wing is created with love …. It’s created with passion and paired with the most perfect of dipping sauces. A truly great wing will inspire folks to lick the bowl clean, throw back the last bit of bleu cheese like it was a shot of whiskey and stand for a moment in stunned silence before dropping to their knees to pay homage to this, the king of all bar foods.

So which wing reigns supreme in South Jersey? We are about to find out. It’s time for Atlantic City Weekly’s Wing Wars IV! At 1 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 21 of the top spots in the area (plus a few possible out of towners) will go head to head at Golden Nugget Atlantic City’s Grand Ballroom to decide who is really the top bird.

Sure, our wing experts — A.C. Weekly’s own “Fat Boy Munch Club” — will have their say, but so will an official panel of esteemed judges. Awards will be given out in a variety of categories, including the people’s choice, which is chosen by you!

Tickets are just $30* for general admission which includes wings and dipping sauces from all 21 restaurants, live music, killer drink specials, contests and much, much more! A limited supply of VIP tickets are available for $45*. VIP tickets come with a special gift and one hour early entry to the event (12.p.m.).

Refunds

No refunds or exchanges.  We'll contact you and issue a refund automatically if the event is cancelled, including all fees (except mailing and retail pickup fees). If tickets are purchased at an alternate site please return tickets bought at a retail location to the same location. 

Box Office Hours

Tickets can be purchased anytime online at www.acweekly.com/wingwars ; from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at Press of Atlantic City, 1000 W. Washington Ave., Pleasantville; or at Golden Nugget on day of event if tickets remain. Doors open at 1 p.m. sharp.
