Event Benefactors:

Atlanta Women In Sports (AWIS) supports and partners with organizations using sports as the vehicle to shepherd and address education, community service, diversity, and teamwork. We are proud to have Athlete Ally, 40 Girls & Some Shoes and  Amazin LeThi Foundation as our non-profit partners.
We need your assistance to continue to support programs highlighting these organizations.

ATLANTA PUBLIC SCHOOL FEMALE ATHLETIC PROGRAMS
Atlanta Public School in District 5  female athletic programs are in need of funding to support female students with equipment, uniforms and sports apparel, at John Lewis Invictus Academy Middle School, Jean Childs Young Middle School, Benjamin E. Mays, Frederick Douglass and Coretta Scott King Young Women Leadership Academy.

ATHLETE ALLEY ORGANIZATION
Sports remains one of the greatest socialization mechanisms in the world — it communicates values without relying on any one language, and its most successful participants are known and respected globally. And yet, an entire community of people remain systematically excluded from sport.
Athlete Ally believes that everyone should have equal access, opportunity, and experience in sports — regardless of your sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Our mission is to end the rampant homophobia and transphobia in sport and to activate the athletic community to exercise their leadership to champion LGBTQ equality https://www.athleteally.org/

40 GIRLS AND SOME SHOES
is a Georgia based charity outreach program servicing the homeless and impoverished citizens of the City of Atlanta and its surrounding communities.40 Girls and Some Shoes has provided 10,000 pairs of free shoes to these underserved groups since its inception. This has been accomplished through a number of shoe drives and an annual charity event which brings together leaders of the city, other organizations aimed at serving the homeless community, and individuals who want to do their part to support this great cause. http://40girlsandsomeshoes.org

AMAZIN LE THI FOUNDATION (ALF) is a 501c3 US tax-exempt for purpose international organization Our mission is to empower LGBTQ youth and those affected by HIV/AIDS through a range of educational, sporting, leadership and mentoring programmes and to campaign against discrimination. We are a #VoiceWithAction for the advancement of equality. Our vision is a world where there is equality for all and where LGBTQ youth and those affected by HIV/AIDS can achieve their full potential. http://www.amazinlethifoundation.org/
