Families and individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing are invited to attend for free on Tuesday, February 18, for American Sign Language-interpreted presentations, performances and demonstrations. Advance registration is required.
11am – Wildlife Theater Group Performance:Super Shark’s Ocean Adventure
Join Wildlife Theater as we dive into the ocean and explore the incredible diversity of life in our own backyard! From sharks to jellyfish to sea turtles, our superhero SuperShark will meet and protect them all. Learn how easy it is to become an Ocean Protector!
11:30am – Wild Encounters with Zoologist Jarod Miller
Learn all about unique animal adaptations from zoologist Jarod Miller in a live animal demonstration featuring a kangaroo, a golden eagle, an African crested porcupine and an alligator!
1:00pm – Intrepid Education Demonstration: Water Works!
Dive deeper into the Intrepid Museum’s artifacts and exhibits during our daily educational demonstrations.
2:00pm – Two by Two Zoo Animal Demonstration: Wild World of Animals
Meet a kangaroo, a North American Alligator, a hedgehog, a chinchilla, a snake, and different types of small tortoises.
