Ashburn Summer Chess Camp 2019! (Rising 1st-4th Graders)

YOUR BEST CHESS never leaves out the FUN --- so get ready for an EXCITING five-day Chess camp!

So get off your screens for a few days, and receive great Chess instruction from Dr. Barry H. Oring (Dr. B), head instructor at YOUR BEST CHESS!!!

Camp includes five half days (Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) of instruction, practice, fun, snack/break, more instruction, more practice and more FUN!  Plus, students will play in a no-stress, class tournament on "Fun Friday".  All students will receive a YBC t-shirt, participation medal and one snack per day (peanut free).  In addition, First, Second and Third Place trophies will be awarded to the winners of the "Fun Friday" class tournament.

Behavior Policy:  Parents, please note--We at YBC make our Chess camps a lot of fun!  Although, as there are deep-level thinking/reasoning skills being taught here, please be aware that your child will be expected to pay attention, be respectful and engage in their Chess games during "Practice Time".  If, at any time, your child decides to throw the pieces and/or disrupt the Chess board, turn their back on the instructor(s), and/or show disregard for authority, it will be necessary for us to contact you regarding the situation.  If it continues, we will politely ask you to remove your child from the camp.  No refunds will be given. 

Refund Policy:  

• a.  100% refund if requested on/before July 8, 2019 (7 days before camp begins)
• b.  50% refund if requested July 9-14, 2019
• c.  No refunds on/after July 15, 2019
