ArtSpan Artist Mixer with Mixed Media Materials from SCRAP SF

ArtSpan assemblage artist, Dianne Hoffman, will lead an interactive activity during our next Artist Mixer online via ZOOM sponsored by SCRAP SF. Get new ideas + a mix of fun materials sent to your door! Join the group to learn and share easy techniques while using recycled and repurposed components to create assemblage artworks.

Registration is required. Participants have the opportunity to receive Mystery Materials Box of random objects and mixed media materials from SCRAP SF to use during our Artist Mixer event!

Early Bird Registration: Sign up between June 2 - June 25, 2020 Receive SCRAP SF Mystery Materials Box for $20.

Regular Registration: Sign up between June 26 -July 2, 202 and receive SCRAP SF Mystery Materials Box for $25

Late Registration: Sign up between July 3 - July 9, 2020 and make curbside pick up arrangements with SCRAP SF to acquire Mystery Materials Box for $25

About the Sponsor: SCRAP SF is a non-profit creative reuse center, materials depot, and workshop space founded in 1976 in San Francisco, California. SCRAP breathes new life into old arts and crafts supplies and reduces waste by diverting over 200 tons of materials heading to landfill every year.

About the Artist: Dianne Hoffman is a self-taught mixed media artist with a primary focus in found objects and recycled materials mingled with collage, paint and clay. Her work conveys nostalgic stories that balance aspects of light and dark with whimsy, sincerity and magnetism. Dianne has been a full time artist of salvaged and repurposed components since 2010 with work found in collections worldwide. She maintains an abundant workspace at Arc Studios and Gallery in the South of Market neighborhood of San Francisco.
