Redrawing History: A Library Company Webinar
Join us as we host a candid conversation about lessons learned in the making of Ghost River: Fall and Rise of the Conestoga, the Library Company’s first graphic novel. This web-based symposium will feature author Lee Francis IV (Laguna Pueblo) and artist Weshoyot Alvitre (Tongva), who will reflect upon the use of Native American pop art to promote historical literacy and social justice.

A conversation with artist Weshoyot Alvitre (Tongva), author Dr. Lee Francis IV (Laguna), and editor Will Fenton, moderated by Bill Adair (The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage). Followed by Q&A.
4:15-4:45: Ghost River, Gone Virtual
A brief conversation between Ann McShane (Emory University), Nicole Scalessa (Vassar College), and Will Fenton (Library Company of Philadelphia) about the Ghost River digital edition, GhostRiver.org.
4:45-5:00: Call to Action
Editor Will Fenton will outline steps that participants can take to contribute to and sustain the project.
