Students will learn how to design and create handmade jewelry. Students will learn how to use studio tools and many fabrication techniques for working in gold, sterling silver, copper, silver nickel and brass. They will learn sawing, fileing, forming, joining, soldering, filing shapes, ring sizing, sanding, wax carving, marriage of metals, textile techniques on metal, polishing, texturing, stone setting..etc all this techniques will be practiced in class.
Students will learn basic design drawings and how to develop concepts for creating jewelry pieces and collections, They will become familiar with the jewelry studio, tools and equipment. they will be encouraged to create, experience, play and explore to accomplish as their own jewelry designs.
The classes include a list of suppliers (tools & materials) jewelry art galleries & worldwide jewelry artists scene to provide them with a full introduction to the jewelry universe and industry.

Studio is at the 4th Floor and there is no elevator

No. Only tools will be provided for the entire duration of the class. Materials will also be provided ONLY for the first day of class then you must purchase materials for the subsequent sessions. A list of suppliers will be provided during the first class meeting.
