The Art of the Gathering: Beer, painting & social media (A conversation with Curtis Miller)
6:30 pm (conversation begins at 7pm)
Think Artist Talk minus the PowerPoint, the hierarchy, the rows of chairs… add craft beer. Curtis Miller is sharing his trains of thought, so hop on.
In conjunction with his final solo exhibition at the gallery, Hamiltonian Artists is pleased to announce an evening of beer, snacks, and discussion with Baltimore-based artist, Curtis Miller. Combining the atmosphere of a beer release and a Jeffersonian dinner, we will share some of Miller’s favorite craft beers and discuss the broad but surprisingly interconnected topics of beer, painting, and social media in 2020. The evening will begin with a brief introduction to the current exhibition by the artist who will then lead the group in a casual but directed evening of discussion while sharing samplings of his favorite craft beers.
Space is limited so please don’t forget to RSVP. All ages welcome but you must be 21 to sample the beer.
Curtis Miller | A New Series of Paintings is on view through March 21, 2020.
