Painting Essentials with Sam Morrow
Mondays 10:00-1:00
6 wks – 1/6, 1/13, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/24 (no class 1/20 or 2/17)
Sam Morrow will teach traditional painting techniques and methods. He will go through all basic processes from underpainting, through body paint, glazing, scumbling, wet into wet, wet onto dry, transparency and opacity to name but a few.
Students will apply the principles learned to their own paintings, working from still life, photographs or the imagination.  Group discussion will be a feature in class as well as individual personal instruction.  All levels are welcome, from absolute beginner to advanced.  This class is for the oil or acrylic painter.
