Arizona Summer Institute (3 days) - Illuminate Education

The Illuminate Education Summer Institutes will be held over three days. They are designed for teams of district or site leaders who are looking to get a jumpstart on the 19-20 school year.  We will support your teams to create assessments (flex, itembank, skills and more), data protocols to guide data conversations, and the opportunity to curate online resources for students to access after an assessment. Purpose & GoalsDuring the institute, we will guide your team through best practices in designing a balanced assessment system and give you tips about designing your learning measures to support future data analysis and feedback for learning. There will also be opportunities to select breakout sessions each day to dive deeper into assessment blueprinting, assessment creation, accessing itembank content already available to you, early literacy/numeracy assessment options, data conversations with PLC protocols, trainer of trainers toolkit, and more! A light breakfast, coffee, and lunch will be served each day.  Bring a device, charge cord, and any assessment or curriculum you will need to scope out and design your assessments.  You can preview the agenda here.
