Introductory Paragraph
Give an overview of the topic and introduce your thesis statement. In the next paragraph, present both sides of the argument, being sure to briefly touch upon the main points.

Body Paragraphs
These are the basis for your attack and most likely the most interesting. This is your chance to shine! Use the research you gathered to support your argument. The more research the better so be prepared to strategically present information that will discredit the opposing side. Be sure to stay organized with your evidence, also explaining the connection back to your point of attack. Be sure to flow from one point to another in a seamless manner and never include emotional language as if will overshadow the facts.

Conclusion
End your essay with a strong concise conclusive paragraph that summarizes all your points. Do not use this paragraph to present more information or go on an emotional rant. Short, sweet and straight to the point is the way to go with the argumentative essay.
