This is a two-day course. 

Please expect to receive additional information relative to the pre-class work a week before the class will begin. The pre-class work will take about 1 hour to complete.

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED certification including hands-on training (online-only certificates cannot be accepted) or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course.

Upon registration, it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content, a pre-course skill session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities. For more information, please reference the attachment you will receive via e-mail when you register for this course. The precourse work must be complete no later than 48 hours prior to the first day of class.

You will receive the link to the pre-course work information a week prior to your class.  There is minimal work required (approx 1-2 hours) before class which involves watching a very short video.
