Presentation #1 – UDT / CyberSecurity Challenges & Trends

Who’s more dangerous to an organization; Insiders or Outsiders? Despite innovative technologies made, attackers break through conventional safeguards every day. Understand the strategic guidance on CyberSecurity challenges and trends, and how CyberSecurity is a company-wide issue that could potentially impact every aspect of business. Since CyberSecurity issues are now Board issues, Security Leaders are more accountable than ever before, and need to effectively communicate a company’s CyberSecurity posture. Please join us, as UDT’s own CISO discusses his experiences and guidance in this ever-changing technological landscape!

Mike Sanchez, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and EVP Cyber Security Solutions

Mike oversees the strategy, and delivery of all CyberSecurity solutions at UDT and is a former Executive at Visa International responsible for Emerging CyberSecurity Technologies and Mergers & Acquisitions. Mike has been providing CyberSecurity strategic direction to “C” level executives for organizations in the private and public sectors and across multiple geographic regions. Mike has significant experience in the management and performance of all CyberSecurity Assessment and Audit Practices, and also serves as the acting CISO to several high-profile UDT clients within different industry verticals to include transportation, large municipalities, money transfer and financial services.

Presentation #2 – ICM / Modern Cyber Defense Strategies – The Rise of Risk Adaptive Models

Traditional cyber defense strategies are designed to provide defense in depth for the static data center.   Digital Transformation efforts and the adoption of Cloud Platforms, End User Self Service, and the growth of the Mobile and highly Social workforce threatens to circumvent those controls.   The modern enterprise is faced with the daunting challenge of meeting regulatory compliance and the protection of  intellectual property in an era where cyber warriors are overwhelmed, and in many cases dependent on underperforming defense technologies.
