From Business Analyst to Business Accelerator
Business analysis, as a career, is unique in that it can be challenging to define a set of specific skills and capabilities required to be successful. There are IT-oriented BAs who focus on technical content, ensuring they are always ready to discuss cutting edge technologies in the ever-changing industry. Other BAs are more business-oriented and focus on specific functional areas such as HR and Finance. Then there are the rest of us – hybrids that span both the IT and Business sectors along with one or more industries to ensure that success is the final destination for our projects.
As a BA with over 20 years of practical software development experience across many disparate industries, Tami Cole has gained many unique skills and experiences that have led to her greatest career challenge to date – owning and leading Documentation Strategies, Inc., an IT consulting and training organization.
In this presentation, Tami will share with you the many business analyst traits and skills she leans on every day to support the growth of her clients, her team, and her organization.
