You’ve read free online guides and have a handle on the basics of your child’s college admissions process, but you still have questions that only years of experience and expertise can answer.

That’s where Eva Ostrum, a former Yale admissions officer and lifelong educator, can help. Working with Eva interactively using a real applicant's individual profile, you will learn how to read an “application folder” like an admissions officer. You will then be able to apply the same approach at home to understand how admissions officers will view your child's application.  Unlike other methods that focus on packaging, branding, or simply “getting in,” Eva’s holistic approach highlights your child’s strengths and identifies opportunities for a rich and rewarding college experience.

By the end of your three hours with Eva, you will be able to

  • Determine where your child fits into a specific school's applicant pool;
  • Present your child's extracurricular activities for maximum impact;
  • Select teachers to write recommendations that make a difference for your child;
  • Develop a strategy for standardized testing that minimizes stress while optimizing your child's performance; and
  • Assess your child's candidacy like an admissions officer at a highly selective school.

Registration will be limited to the first 12 respondents, so reserve your place now!  A complimentary buffet breakfast will be served.
