Myrtle and Sydney will be leading this month's temple. We will echo the ancient Aphrodisia Festival that was held annually in June/July, in honor of Aphrodite Pandemos, Goddess of the People. Some call it a Bathing Festival, and in that spirit, we will wash our statue of Aphrodite. At this time also, her altar was kept pure and clean. We will make offerings at her altar of roses and myrtle. Please bring flowers.
In past celebrations, our Temple has taken this as a time to paint gold any altar objects we had. We will allow time for this activity, but this year, the focus will be on an energetic bathing of our auras, followed by calling out the sacred shimmering aspect of ourselves that She brings forth.
