IMPORTANT UPDATE ON A PLACE CALLED HOME’S NOVEL CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 PANDEMIC RESPONSE: APCH Monthly Tours Suspended Until Further Notice

Dear Friends of APCH:

The safety of our members, their families, our staff, and our community is our top priority. Information from the most reliable sources (public health officials, scientists and medical personnel) indicates that the safest and most effective path to containing the virus is to reduce and eliminate large group gatherings and traffic between groups. 

Therefore, effective Thursday, March 12, 2020, A Place Called Home will be closing to non-staff and guests. A Place Called Home will be closing to members effective Saturday, March 14, 2020. We are committed to remaining a pillar of stability and guidance in our community. While our center is closed, we will be providing counseling services by phone along with virtual programming options for our members. Additionally, we will be distributing emergency supplies to our families by scheduled appointments only, in order to minimize interaction, as advised by health officials and local government.

It is in times like these that we are truly reminded of the importance of community. While we may not be able to gather in person, we can instead focus on other ways to connect with and support those around us. That said, if you are looking for a way to stay connected and help those in need, APCH is gratefully accepting donations through our on-going 333333;">virtual fundraiser. Additionally, if you or your business have access to bulk cleaning products or paper goods and wish to make a donation, please contact 333333;">inkind@apch.org.
