Amplify Latinx Cafecitos Power Breakfast - February 2020

Massachusetts ranks amongst the top in education, healthcare, and the economy. Yet, in stark contrast Latinos and African Americans in Massachusetts face the steepest socio-economic disparity in the country.

Join us, along with our co-hosts, Reevx Labs and Madison Park Community Development Corporation, for an Amplify Latinx Cafecito Power Breakfast celebrating Black History Month and Afro-Latinidad. Our "fire starters" speakers will address the inter-relationship between race and inequality and the major factors that impact our communities. We hope to inspire a lively discussion about the barriers and opportunities for civic engagement and economic mobility as communities of color, through the lens of the Diaspora and the Afro-Latino experience. Let's continue using our collective power to make a difference for our communities of color in Massachusetts.

The Cafecitos Series is one of Amplify Latinx's signature events focusing on professional advancement in Greater Boston, North Shore and Merrimack Valley. Through its “Cafecitos” model, Amplify Latinx hosts quarterly networking breakfasts where individuals can connect with other senior leaders as well as inspire emerging leaders. The program portion is intentionally concise to leave room for networking and conversation.
