JOIN IN ON YOUR DIY POTTERY ADVENTURE In this private CLASS FOR TWO+, we are taking the clay outside. In the our new Covid reality, we are taking clay either to the curb or outside in the back yard. Learn a new skill and take a "Claycation" with US! We begin with introductions and basic wheel demonstration by one of our instructors: Alex, Candace, Jasmine, Jason, Leslie, Sasi or Tony. You will learn the basic steps of throwing a cylinder on the potter's wheel, then each participant gets up to four 1-pound balls of clay to try their hand at the potter's wheel. You can keep your new works of art, just choose a glaze color and we will dry and trim your work, fire it, glaze it and re-fire it. When it's ready, Steve will notify you it is ready for pick-up. *Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can start on time. When we get started the doors will be locked and the activity will be moved outdoors to the back yard. If you arrive late, we won't know that you are at the door. For Covid health reasons, CLASSES ARE LIMITED TO 5 PARTICIPANTS, conducted outdoors weather permitting, and we ask that you wear a face covering, bring your own towel, an apron if desired, and wear clothing appropriate for outdoor weather conditions and that you don't mind getting dirty.
