One on One - Adobe Lightroom CC

On several occasions I have been asked if I would provide One on One training for folks interested in learning ADOBE LIGHTROOM CC. This class will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays. I respectfully ask that anyone interested that register at least one week before the class. I will be scheduling other class and photo walks on the weekends so, this class will be held based on any interest expressed in advance.I would strongly recommend you call me if you are interested in taking the class. We can schedule a convenience time to teach the class. Here is a rough breakdown of the day. 10:00 to 11:00 - Introductions, setting up your laptop and expectations of the days lesson. 11:00 to Noon - We will be working on images you bring to the class and the ones I have shot. Images should be in a RAW format. Noon to 1:00pm - We will break for lunch 1:00 to 2:00 - Introduction to Lightroom, including how to load images into your computer from you camera, , setting up a proper file system, color profiles, storing images and the benefits of shooting in RAW versus JPEG, editing images . WHAT TO BRING: Laptop or IMac, external hard drive, preferably a new one without any data contained therein. We will be formatting and setting up the hard drive specifically for Lightroom CC. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: if you don t have Adobe Lightroom CC installed on your computer, download a trial version from the Adobe web site. Also, it is advisable to call me to discuss what will happen in the class in order for your to be successful I need to make sure you have a solid understand of your camera, RAW files, and you operating system. NOTE: Meetup does not allow me to set up a class without the instructor as one of the participants, so if you see my name and one open slot for the class that means there is one and only one open slot for the class. Again, this is a one-on-one class.
