littles and Family Ride Lake Natoma

Come join my son and I for an opportunity to take our younger riders out on the trails around Lake NATOMA. We will stick to the south side and try to avoid the few technical areas. This will be a no drop ride with the intent to build the confidence the skills of our LITTLES ON THEIR BIKES.Target distance will be 4-6 miles based upon the crowd we can go up or down. My son is 5 and has ridden his bike from where we will be starting down to aquatic center and back (9.5 miles). All riders must wear a helmet and bring a well tuned appropriate bike for the trails. All children must be accompanied by a parental adult at all times and parents are responsible for their children and their actions. We want this to be a fun ride for all; however, young riders can and do fall at times so pads may be a good idea. Rain will cancel the ride and we will pause to reinforce trail etiquette and safety to help our young ones learn how to merge onto the paved portion and when passing other trail users.
