See below for details!__Funded by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Quality Enhancement in After-School and Out-of-School Time (ASOST-Q) Grant Program._ TRAUMA AWARENESS | WESTERN MA | WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4TH, 2020 9:30AM - 3:00PM, LOCATION: SOUTH HADLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY, 2 CANAL ST, SOUTH HADLEY, MA 01075 _One in a series of ASOST trainings in 2020: _ Many youths in our communities have experienced trauma, the effects of which can be long-lasting and significant and create barriers to forming relationships with supportive adults. This training will introduce principles of trauma informed practices to apply in youth serving programs. With a better understanding of trauma and its impact on youth, staff can structure programming that leverages the resilience possessed by youth.
