PRESENTATION TITLE:  Strategies to Secure your IoT DomainsSPEAKER: _KEIRK SANDERLIN_, Head of Engineering Office of the CTO CheckPoint Software ABSTRACT: As we begin to leverage the cloud and AI to help improve the quality of our daily lives, we are finding there are many new bumps in the road. These technologies connect directly to our homes, enterprises, hospitals and critical infrastructure through cheap and quickly manufactured devices will little regard for security. What are these risks and how do we secure these devices? There has been an explosion of IoT visibility vendors who have come onto the scene over the last 3 years. What do they offer and where are cybersecurity vendors looking to add capabilities to assist? Kierk Sanderlin will discuss the challenges and offer some answers to the questions of IoT device security in the digital age. SPEAKER BIO: Kierk Sanderlin Head of Engineering | Office of the CTO at CheckPoint Software,  a cybersecurity evangelist and head of engineering at Check Point Software.  He speaks at many cyber security conferences and is referenced in many media outlets related to the current state of cyber attacks and their impact.  Kierk has been in the cybersecurity industry for over 20 years and has a passion to educate and inspire the next generation of cyber defenders.
