Mission Statement: Organize and maintain a world class,
runner-centric event maximizing the natural assets and beauty of the
region with proceeds from the event to support College Scholarships
and not-For-Profit organizations. Registration: Online registration
closes Friday, Sept. 25 at 8:00 a.m. If you’re the type that waits
until the last possible minute, you can register in person (space
permitting) for the marathon, half-marathon, and relay races at
the Race Expo on Saturday (until 4:00 p.m.). For the 5-K and 10-K
races Saturday in Chestertown, you can register race morning
(7:00-8:30 a.m.). Race Expo: Open to the public!Featuring running

a.m. Location: Schroon Lake Central School, 1125 US Route 9, Schroon
Lake, NY Packet Pickup: All runners are strongly encouraged to pick up
their race bib numbers and packets at Saturday’s Race Expo. Can’t
make it? Bibs will be available on Sunday morning at the Schroon Lake
Central School (6:30-8:00 a.m.). In any case, all runners must pick up
their own packet and show photo ID. There are no exceptions to this
requirement. Pasta Dinner: The pasta dinner (new Location for 2020)
will be held from 6pm to 7pm Saturday, September 26 at the Lakeside
dining room of the Word of Life Inn Bible Institutei at 4200 Glendale
Rd, Pottersville, NY 12860. The BI is located off of Route 9,
approximately 9 miles south of Schroon Lake village. Tickets are
$15.00 each and children under 5 are free. Tickets may be purchased on
your registration form. Additional tickets may be purchased Saturday
at packet pickup or at the door, subject to availability. Race Day
Transportation: On race day, there will be rolling road closures to
ensure the safety of all runners. Familiarize yourself with
the roadways affected now, to ensure a smooth journey. Likewise,
know where you can park in town. Here’s a PDF map of the village
that shows the best places to park. There is NO parking on Leland
Avenue or along Route 9 south of Leland Ave. The Northeast’s Best
Half-Marathon: The Adirondack Marathon Distance Festival’s
Half-Marathon was voted the top 13.1-mile race in the northeast region
by readers of competitor.com and its social media followers. Flip Key
named Adirondack Marathon in their "50 States Series: Top Marathons &
Races Worth Traveling For" Free registration for active duty,
military, guard and reserve. Sign up early as there is Limited Space
Available. Military registration will open on Feb. 1st , sign up on
our website. (Your CAC card required to pick-up your packet). Event
details and scheduleDue to construction at the Word of Life campus
some tweaks along the course are being made. (Stay tuned for final
course changes.) Marathon starts Sunday at 9 a.m. Marathon Early Bird
start 7 a.m. (The Early Bird Start is non-competitive and participants
will receive a recorded time and finisher’s medal, but will not be
eligible for awards. ). Half Marathon starts at 10 a.m., at the
13.1-mile marker of the full-marathon course. Complimentary bus
transportation to half Marathon start line is included in your
registration. Relays start 9 a.m. in the town of Schroon at the
Marathon start line. Complimentary transportation to exchange areas
included in your registration. 5-K and 10-K Race
