Vespa Club of America (VCOA) is pleased to announce that the site of Amerivespa 2020 scooter rally will be held in Minneapolis/St Paul MN. Amerivespa Minneapolis/St Paul will be four days of scootering fun for scooter enthusiasts. Amerivespa 2020 is co-hosted by Twin Cities Scooter Collective.
Amerivespa is the largest annual motor scooter rally in the United States and typically brings over 600-800 scooter enthusiasts from all over the USA, Europe, Canada, Asia, Mexico, and Australia. Minneapolis/St Paul could conceivably bring over 1,000 attendees. VCOA is a nonprofit organization whose members are dedicated to riding Vespa, and is a society for people who share the passion of vintage and modern Vespa. Approximately 70% of the scooters originally sold in the United States were Vespas. However, many members also own Lambretta, Cushman, Heinkel, Zundapp, and other makes. VCOA supports the use of the scooter as an energy efficient vehicle and economical mode of transportation that conserves fuel, reduces traffic congestion, and treads lightly on the overworked road system.
