American Heart Association CPR Class

Please read the following carefully as it will answer most of your questions.

Come learn CPR from the finest health care professionals from Pinellas Park Fire Department. You will learn adult, child and infant CPR with AED use. Classes are held on select Tuesday nights from 5:30pm till 8:30pm or Saturdays from 9:00am till 12:00pm and 1pm to 4pm 

Please select a date from the dropdown menu and register which class you are interested in. Please sign up individually with each person attending. Classes are free and you will receive a BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider CPR certificate that is valid for two years. This certificate will be electronic and be sent to your email upon completion. If the email does not come through within a week please utilize the link below.

This BLS provider course will encompass basic CPR and AED usage, as well as in-hospital CPR. This certificate will suffice for any work-related CPR card requirements for basic CPR credentials.

This CPR class is for both individuals with little to no medical training or those who currently work in a medical field. Certain jobs that might require a BLS Provider card are: lifeguards, daycare workers, teachers, CNA’s, and any other BLS professions.

We know plans change and unforeseen occurrences come up that prevent you from attending. We ask that you only sign up if you are sincere about attending the date you choose. We currently have about 70% attendance rate and spots are being withheld from those who would like to attend but the classes are “sold out.”

When you arrive, please feel free to park in any of the front or rear parking spots. Walk through the front office and follow the signs to where the training room is. (First left, then first right).
