Alpine Meadows 2019: Short Pecos Route to Lake Katherine

Special event: now that we know the Eastside Winsor trails well, I'm ready to make a real push for Lake Katherine. Plus on the way home I want to use our new saws to clear most of the small dead fall on the Old Winsor trail. We will leave enough at beginning and end to make sure horses don't start using it again. If some want to hang and just clear trail then this reduces to a 7 mile and 1800 ft moderate hike. Check out the June 1 album from our last go at this.
