It’s April 5, 2018, and we’re just outside Alabaster, Alabama.
A world-weary fashion photographer walks away from her high-profile life to pursue a passion project: a series of portraits about the topography of women’s scars. But she meets her match in her next subject: an undiscovered folk artist, deep in rural Alabaster, Alabama.
Narrated by a sarcastic goat, Alabaster is a tale that explores what it means to be truly “seen,” how we pick up the pieces, how we move forward, and how we heal.
Directed by gust director Lisa Sanaye Dring of Circle X Theatre in Los Angeles, this moving new drama will draw you in to its story of how love and art can rebuild us, even at our most broken.
