Through presentation and conversation, Jack Algiere will guide a virtual tour of Stone Barns Center’s 350 acre diversified farm system, connecting generative methodology, innovations and experimental practices with a broad diversity of partners and audiences. Stone Barns resides 30 miles north of NYC within the boundaries of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve and plays an integral role in the conservation program for the 1500 acre forest and grassland ecosystem. Jack’s 15 year creative partnership with Blue Hill at Stone Barns’ Chef Dan Barber has led to rich and progressive educational content feeding farmers, chefs, students, teachers, ecologists, engineers, entrepreneurs, health care practitioners and eaters in general.
