The Center for 4-H & Youth Development at CAUSES is proud to host an Advancing Youth Development (AYD) One-Day Overview Training for Supervisors. This training is specifically designed for individuals in leadership positions at youth-serving organizations. AYD is a national training program and professional development curriculum that is well established in the District, having been previously implemented by the National Training Institute for Community Youth Work and the DC Trust Corporation to further the network of committed professionals that provide quality programming for our children and youth in the District.
This training is another facet of the work of the Center for 4-H and Youth Development. Additionally, the training helps build the capacity and sustainability of our community-based organizations and agencies as it deepens the workforce in the field of youth development. The training will take place on April 26, 2019, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The following questions will be answered:
WHAT IS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT?
