Advanced Topics in Spanish Literacy, or La lectoescritura en español is an advanced workshop focused on literacy instruction in Spanish within a biliteracy literacy setting: transitional bilingual education, dual language education, one-way, two-way, or foreign language immerision. NOTE: The workshop will be conducted in Spanish. The workshop will focus on: Instructional strategies authentic to Spanish, like the Dictado. Effective differentiation of initial and more advanced Spanish literacy instruction for a wide range of developing bilinguals The integration of literacy (reading, writing, and word study) within content Reading and writing text that reflects Spanish discourse style Level of familiarity: Deepening Understanding - delving deeper into the practices and elements of teaching for biliteracy A personalized ticked is required for each attendee, so please make sure to have the following information available before beginning the registration process: name district position and grade level type of language acquisition program Please note that that all sales are final.
