Target Audience:
The ACLS Course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, and paramedics, as well as others who need an ACLS course completion card for job or other requirements.
Description:
The renewal course is designed for individuals who have taken the ACLS Initial course previously and incorporate ACLS algorithms and ideology in their everyday work practice. Those who do not work in environments with daily use of ACLS algorithms are encouraged to take the initial course as a refresher. Course participants must have excellent working knowledge of EKG rhythms and ACLS pharmacology.
