Ananya Dance Theatre presents Sutrajāl: Revelations of Gossamer at The OʻShaughnessy at St. Catherine University, St. Paul, September 20 & 21!
In support of this epic dance theater production, we invite you to our new Shawngram Institute for Performance & Social Justice for a GALA-Ish Celebration & Fundraiser. Our fundraising goal is $10,000. Proceeds will support Sutrajāl’s production elements: scenic design, costumes, soundscape, and collaborative artistic labor.

PART 1: Sutrajāl Underground, 5pm-7pm

This segment of Sutrajāl Underground (5pm-7 pm) will take you inside the process and production elements of this year’s premiére. We will reveal the scenic design for the multi-layered universe of Sutrajāl and costume sketches for the unique characters in it. Also, be the first to see a performance excerpt from Sutrajāl and hear its haunting, original score by Renée Copeland.
