The Porto Vista Hotel is thrilled to announce the launch of Acoustic, Ales and Art, a free monthly event that features rotating local artists, musicians and $6 brews at the GlassDoor restaurant every third Thursday.
First Up ...
On Thursday, February 21, from 6 to 8PM the GlassDoor will feature Mark Ian Moxon, an artist that has departed from realism into the world of the abstract, experimenting with diverse textures and colors to create immersive psychedelic environments. Moxon will debut his series ‘Time and Space”, titled in response to the artistic struggle to locate enough space and time in the physical world to explore one's own creativity.
Featured musician Gary Santo-Pietro is a San Diego based solo musician that creates a calm acoustic atmosphere with latin jazz inspired sounds reminiscent of Pat Metheny and Santana.
