A Walking Meditation - Causeway Trail

This is our monthly field trip for Tampa Stoics (First Sundays).

NOTICE: starting this month (June), the walk will begin at 7PM.

If you d like to volunteer to be the host for this event, just add a comment below. As the host, you just need to arrive 5 minutes early and welcome everyone.

Given the pandemic, please use social distancing for the health of others. Also, if you feel sick, please don t attend this event.

Our walking meditation is along the Causeway Trail, starting at the Courtney Campbell Causeway Shelter. We ll walk 1.5 miles in one direction and then turn around and walk back.

This event starts at 7:00PM. The temperatures will be lower, and the scenery will be beautiful. Sometimes, dolphins can be seen in the water!

Feel free to invite friends, but please carpool. The parking spaces may be limited at the Courtney Campbell Causeway Shelter.

This meetup is free.

We will gather at 7:00PM, and then we start the hike at 7:05PM. If you re running late, look for the group and try to catch up.

The trail is longer than 3 miles, so the host will remind the group to turn around at the half-way point.

Remember to bring comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water.

Tampa Stoics usually has meetings that are structured conversations with an outline, but this meeting is un-structured. So, you can discuss whatever topics you like, or you can walk silently.
