A Festival of Music 3 to Benefit The Seeing Eye

Beacon Hill Musicians is returning to the stage with our third annual Concert to Benefit The Seeing Eye.  The mission of The Seeing Eye is to enhance the independence, dignity and self-confidence of people who are blind through the use of specially trained Seeing Eye Dogs. 

The first two successful concerts raised $13,000 for The Seeing Eye.

Festival of Music 3 will lead off with an appearance by Marty Eigen's new quartet Amani, which means "peace" in Swahili.  The group was formed to share the concept of peace through music, performing for people of all ages, races, and religious affiliations. The core group includes veteran musicians Marty Eigen on saxophone and flute, Fred Fischer on keyboards, vocalist Stephen Fuller and guitarist Flip Peters.

Returning to the concert stage will be Rio Clemente ("The Bishop of Jazz"), Gene Perla (formerly with Sonny Rollins, Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone), Grover Kemble (formerly with Sha Na Na and Za Zu Zaz), and Gordon Lane (formerly with Dionne Warwick, Dizzy Gillespie, and Stanley Jordan). We are pleased this year to welcome jazz singer and multilabel recording artist Sarah Partridge. The show will again be hosted by Marty Eigen, leader of the Beacon Hill Jazz Band.

-Donate by check.  Make your check out to The Seeing Eye, and mail to The Seeing Eye, Inc., PO Box 375, Morristown, NJ 07963-0375.  Write "Festival of Music 3" on the memo line of your check.

You will receive a printable electronic acknowledgement for your records, after which you will receive a letter from The Seeing Eye acknowledging your tax deductible donation.
